Gemma & Anthony


Gemma and Anthony wanted to hold their wedding reception at Oxford's Tap Social Brewery. They wanted dirty canapés and an unfussy 3 course plated wedding breakfast set up on the brewery's mezzanine.

We had done numerous pop-up 'Tapas Social' nights at the brewery and were confident that we could deliver a 3 course wedding reception for 130 guests in a brewery with no kitchen facilities.

The food was fun and uncomplicated and with the wedding being in a brewery the food needed to be substantial. Photography credits Insta-wedding UK


  • King prawn Katsu, soy
  • Buttermilk chicken, Native's hot sauce
  • Smoked Ox Cheek & whipped bone marrow on toast
  • Truffled mac & cheese arancini
  • Rump of British lamb, salsa verde, braised baby gem, garlic & lemon
  • Summer slaw, buttered jersey royals & dressed Bucksum green salad
  • BBQ caramelised pineapple, coconut ice cream, popcorn or a selection of British and French cheese, biscuits, grapes & chutney
  • Crisp pig patty, green chilli slaw, chipotle ketchup, mustard mayo, brioche bun

Ant said he will be forever grateful to whoever handed him a pork bun on the dancefloor - the best burger he has ever eaten (it is all I heard about on honeymoon!)
